OMEGA's unique high-temperature J, K, E or N thermocouple series are protected by wear-resistant Inconel #external braided layer and high-temperature fiber insulation layer. High temperature resistance is 980 C (1800 F) for continuous use and 1038 C (1990 F) for short-term use, which makes these products very suitable for various high temperature measurement applications. Their fitness to the contours of ovens and stoves is beyond the expectation of other products. Braided ceramic fibers are used as insulating layer for single thermocouple wires of gauge No. 20. Ceramic fibers are coated with a strong and durable Inconel 600 layer. Inconel 600 is a tough alloy with high nickel content and high temperature resistance. Five types of convenience, 1 and 3 m (3 and 10') in length, are provided for high temperature measurement applications.
